The magic of theater is happening all month long. You can catch Julius Caesar or The Music Man just about any night all month long. Experience the 770-seat amphitheater nestled in with native plant life as well as animals. Don’t forget your chairs!

Movies Under the Stars
If you’re more of a movie person you can catch outdoor movies across Boise this month. The next one is August 10th and is The Incredibles 2 at Julia Davis Park. Bring your blankets and bug spray, the movie starts at dusk.

Think local and head to either of the Boise Farmer’s markets any Saturday this month. You can shop local food and art vendors @ Idaho St and 8th St from 9:30-1:30, or on Shoreline drive from 9-1.
August 16th is the 22nd annual WineFest on the Basque Block in Downtown Boise. Spend the evening tasting wines and participating in the Basque Museum and Cultural Center’s largest fundraiser of the year!

Botanical Garden Summer Concerts

Alive After Five….
Every Wednesday at 5pm in the Grove Plaza in the heart of Downtown, Boise comes alive with FREE live music. Grab a drink and bring your chair to join in on the fun.
Cool off by heading to a local pool! The most popular are the Lowell Pool, Natatorium Pool, Ivy Wild Pool, Borah Pool, or Fairmont Pool. Pick one with a slide for a day filled with memories and fun with the whole crew.
Western Idaho Fair
The fair is in town August 16th-25th! Head over to ride the rides, see the animals, and even RIDE A CAMEL! There are concerts, comedy, and a hypnotist!
Bring it all in with the Hot Air Balloon Fest!
Labor Day Weekend in Boise is unforgettable. Experience the Spirit of Boise. Wake up early to watch the hot air balloons take off through the valley and then spend the evening watching the balloons while eating even more fair food.
