Our client is seeking a talented Architectural Drafter to join their team in Boise, Idaho. The ideal candidate is efficient, driven to produce high-quality projects in a timely manner, and takes ownership of their work. They must have the ability to develop ideas from concept design to construction details and possess extensive experience with drafting methods and tools.

What You Would Be Doing:

  • Complete floor plan changes related to structural option offerings.
  • Assist with residential architectural plan creation.
  • Assist with lot fits and site plans.
  • Print and review construction drawings and documents.
  • Submit files for building permits to different city municipalities.
  • Assist in developing detailed and accurate construction documents.
  • Ensure the company’s electronic library is kept up to date and maintained to company standards.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • 2-5 years of experience with AutoCAD, Revit, etc.
  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work effectively on a fast-paced team in a professional environment.
  • Residential home building experience.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Ability to comfortably move between different project types.
  • Self-starter capable of managing multiple projects of varying types and scales simultaneously.
  • Ability to read floor plans, elevation plans, framing plans, electrical plans, and site plans.
  • Understanding of local jurisdiction requirements and regulations.
  • Knowledge of zoning codes and ordinance requirements for project sites.
